Humility cultivating God's Favor
God has chosen each of us to be kings in different areas: our homes, our families, our finances, and His kingdom.
For these kingships, we must work diligently to keep our hearts humble to be the steward of these kingships. We must never forget that being king is a matter of stewardship and not control. We must not to see ourselves as the kings. As stewards, we must constantly submit ourselves to the standards of the God who chose us. and we need honest friends who will remind us of our boundaries, particularly when we begin to confuse God's favor with our abilities. We must always remember how our lives and decisions affect those around us; those we serve. We need to remain tirelessly committed to God's plain, honest truth and allow it to shine untinted on our whole lives.
It is this humility, this accurate view of ourselves through God's eye that cultivates God's favor in each of our lives.
